I’m sorry I’ve neglected you as of late. I have so many blogs which are still in draft form that I need to upload. I wanted to write about my Biology class. As you know this is my third attempt at this lovely class. Currently I think I’m rocking a B (which is AMAZING). I meet with my professor once a week to review material and today was probably our most productive meeting.
Me: I’m starting to realize things actually relate.
Professor Griffith: Since there are you four theatre people in class, I try to think of ways things might relate to your studies.
Me: *sits there thinking “this man actually regonizes my major!”* (Sidenote: My first Bio122 professor actually told me I didn’t have a real major)
We then went on to discuss the topic I needed help on and he continuely asked me questions making relationships between theatre and biology. I realized the two topics (one being my passion and the other being the bain of my existance) actually do relate! The sides of the heart are the same as stage directions. There’s a reason Chris can tell if a knife has nicks if it drags on the hair folicles on his skin. The two topics aren’t as different as I thought. Todays a great day and lately I’ve been feeling a lot more confident than I have in the past.
